Air Systems was founded in 1999 by owner Rick Amundson. Rick grew up in East Grand Forks, but spent a great deal of time in Lake of the Woods fishing and hunting with his Dad and Grandpa. Rick and Jill moved to Baudette to be with family and raise their only daughter in a “Minnesota Nice” small-town community.

With over 35 years experience in the HVAC business, it was a one-man operation until 2016, when Andy Brandt was hired. They continued to grow the business and in 2019 Air Systems opened a Retail Store and a new shop at 3253 State Hwy 172 NW. The team expanded with the addition of Noah Amundson and Dave Riopelle. Jill came on board in 2021 to run the office and Donnie Gausen was hired in 2022. Emily Brandt recently joined the team in the Fall of 2023.

Air Systems is a full service HVAC business that provides service, installation and preventive maintenance plans. It is not unusual to see Air Systems vans traveling in Baudette, Williams, Warroad, Roseau and as far as International Falls.
We sell heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and hardware supplies in our Retail store where you will be greeted by our sweet lab, Kaia!
